We are back home now from vacay...twas fun and went by too damn fast, but I'm glad to finally be home. It's so exhausting going on vacay (like right now, I'm wicked tired and there's really no reason why I should be. Totally vacation's fault), which is ironic when you think about it. How are you expected to completely relax when you're not at home sleeping in your own bed?
But it was good to go back HOME, as in HOME HOME. It didn't actually FEEL like vacation since I lived there for 16.5 years. Getting to see a lot of the people we know from there and knowing that people are actually missing us was nice. Here, in Louisiana, it doesn't feel like people really care...they don't really invite us anywhere or want to do things with us. Whole different story back in FL.
More of my 'vacay' goals were accomplished on Sunday. I knew the latest issue of SG magazine came out last Tuesday, so I kept going around looking for it. Of course every Borders I checked had the previous issue only. But Sunday, I was able to get into a Barnes and Noble and they had it. Also picked up the latest Scifi Magazine, which I've been meaning to get for weeks now (there is a brief interview with Michael about being on SGU, so yeah...had to get that). And of course, being the avid book addict I am, I had to check out the bargain section (which, in B&N, is always so huge and orgasmic!). Managed to get a book of 'adventure stories' for $10 (I would tell y'all the actual title, but it's upstairs and I'm being too lazy to go and get it).
Well, I was going to head over to LoudTwitter to set up automatic cuts with my twitposts (b/c I can't have a repeat of Sunday night's post...I had forgotten about it before going to bed, and then was too busy with getting back home to get on and take care of it - MAJOR APOLOGIES for that!). But alas, LT's site won't work, so I have to do the cutting manually until the site is back up. So obnoxious.
Alrighty, I think there was more, but Smurfinator jumped on the comp and now he is watching one of those annoying 'ticker channel' where all they do is talk loud and argue at each other...and the worst one of the channels at that. So now I've kinda lost the urge to post more... I do have a few other things I wanted/need to post, but their more of the individual posts type things.
