dannysgirlsg1So I'm pretty sure I'm gonna bomb this last final... well, maybe not bomb as much as not do well. It would be fine if it was just the usual exam with pictures and maps and stuff (it's my geography exam), but no. He's making us do TWO essays on US involvement in other countries, and these essays are worth 20% of the grade on the final.
This is a 1000 level course on Geography - WHY are we doing essays on topics like US antidemocracy campaigns and the problems in the Middle East?! It's really upsetting me b/c I'm spending so much focusing on just getting the topics for the essays right that I'm not really focusing on the normal stuff for the test. I really want to cry over this right now...
I'm so glad this is my last exam - I'm tired of this shit and after this week I seriously need a break from school!
Now i'm heading off to Starbucks for my chai, where I will try and study as much of the notes/maps as I can. There's no guarantee I won't give up and just start reading Roswell while I'm there.
*sigh*
Oh, and I'll be shutting my computer down right after I make this post so I can get it packed and ready. Smurfinator should be here by the time I get out of the dreaded exam, and I know he'll want to get going ASAP. So next time I post, I'll be back home and past all this damn school crap.
