ANNNNNYWHO, there's been things like every day this week that have made me wanna post, both of goodness and badness, and yet I haven't (I blame RL - it is such a downer depressing bitch sometimes, ain't it?)....So we're gonna wrap this up in a nice condensed (I am using this term lightly) post here...and than branch out from there where it is needed (meaning expect to see me flooding ya'll's flists by the end of tonight, b/c WOW, lots to post about)...


So, shalln't we begin?



THINGS THAT MAKE THIS WEEK MADE OF WIN!:

1. MORE CONTINUUM PICS!!! *DANCES* For those who haven't seen them, and aren't fearing a little thing like spoilers, head over to whisper99's journal and check them out! Three of them, for sure, are made of LVOE!

2. FINALLY....FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY!! MSOL finally put the ET Canada clip up!! I understand why it took them so long a week to get it up, but DAMN, I've been wanting to see it (part of me wished I lived in Canada for a time...). But yeah, go to this lovely page to DL the wonderfulness. It's smushy and awwwwww-worthy and i LVOE is (SO going on my iPod b/c I'm a loser like that!)

3. I found, in my searchings on youtube (in fact, I was going through my already favorited videos, importantly the clips of Michael from NJ Con), a vid from Michael's Q and A at NJ CON that you can clearly hear ME on. This is one of those things that I WILL be posting later - BONUS POINTS AND MAJOR TACKLE!HUGGLES to taraleesg1 for knowing where I was without me telling her! THIS is why your are mi jock strap amor! *SNORT*

4. OMFG, Final presentation done for folklore, and I'm thinking hoping I did prety well - One of my classmates came up and told me she thought my presentation was pretty cool. That made me feel good.

5. On that note, I have NO MORE papers or presentations do for ANY of my classes. Now I'm back to just classes for two weeks, and then finals...AND THEN IT'S HOMETIME!! *DANCES for her predestined summer of Hebert's and homeness and money-earning for Chicago and loans!*

6. Got my housing assignment for next semester, and I not only got the ROOM I wanted (the BIG room at the end of the hall), but my roommate is my friend Claire, who lives right down the hall from me now! Just knowing I won't be anywhere NEAR the thing I live with now *repeats the mantra: Only three more weeks...only three more weeks* next year!

7. I have found out THIS WEEK that aformentioned thing is leaving by the 22nd!! *DANCES* THAT MEANS I get at least THREE days of peace and quiet (well, in terms of not hearing her big, mouth with her DISGUSTING grammatically incorrectness!) here in my last days of my first year of college...SCORE!

8. The first SG-1 audiobook became available!!!! I DLed that shit ASAP (because i've never ordered from that site before and i didn't want to risk NOT being at FSU when it arrived - and neither did I want it to go to my house, and have it SITTING for weeks...), and it will be put on the list of my summer reading list (thought that whole 'just listening to the story' thing is looming it's ugly head at me!).

9. Getting a good TWO HOURS of quality time to listen to Michael Shanks read Local Custom to me...*sigh*

10. I finished IN TWO DAYS the piece of artwork I intended to do for Chicago and have Michael sign. Knowing me, I figured I'd start it, lose interest, and have to haul ass to finish it in time for the con - that's why I started it the other day...so it gave me ALL SUMMER to get it finished. Well, apparently, I didn't need that - it's done. I have to take some pics of the finished version, and that will also be posted tonight.


11. FLAIR!!! (it's that simple)


THINGS THAT MAKE THIS WEEK NOT MADE OF WIN:

1. Having an anxiety attack over all things school - from classes next semester, to money for next semester and afterwards (this includes FAFSA renewal!), to classes this semester and the thing again...Thankfully my side of the room was more chaos than organized last night, so I set to work cleaning up, which always helps me to calm down and focus...

2. Missing Latin ALL WEEK...there's no SPECIFIC reason (okay, I missed YESTERDAY b/c I needed to be to my Folklore class early b/c of the presentation, and there was no possible way that was gonna happen if I went to Latin - so that was a good reason), I just have lost all interest in attending that class whatsoever. But every night this week, I have every intention of going to class the next morning - I even DO my HW for the next days class to make sure I'm not going in there looking like a complete failure... and yet, every morning comes, the alarm goes off...I turn it off, and go right back to sleep. Yeah, I am soooo FAILING that class - I just know it!

3. Laundry - I've been MEANING to do it every damn day since Sunday, and yet, here it is - Thursday, and it's not been done. My PLAN is to get on it right after this post - I of course have an ulterior motive - more time to listen to Local Custom...I'm just pissed my procrastination levels are reaching a dangerous high!

4. It took me ALL three HW tries for this weeks math HW to get a decent grade - and an 85 was the best at that. Yeah, I guess this is what happens when you ALSO miss math all week. Total Fail!

5. Slinkie didn't walk down the stairs! *glares at slinkie!*

The 'bomb scare' today on campus..WHAT, WHY IS THAT AMUSING?!?! Ya'll are probably wondering this...well:

At 1:30 p.m., the FSU Police Department issued an "all clear" and said they had resolved the incident at Parking Garage No. 1. A local 17-year-old high school student returned to his car and accompanied police as they searched the briefcase that had aroused suspicion. There was nothing inside. He told them that a message that seemed to suggest a destructive device was inside was actually his nickname, "A-Bomb." Officers allowed those who work in the building to return to their offices and held traffic so that drivers parked in the garage could quickly exit. Surrounding streets were cleared, and the campus returned to normal status.
