Rating: PG (just to be safe)
Spoilers/Warnings: No warnings since it is prequel, though it does hint to stuff mentioned in the books. 
A/N: Written for [livejournal.com profile] hungergamesland , challenge 16: prequel. Won 1st Place in the challenge. Also, in terms of the timeline, I wrote this thinking it was about a year before Katniss and Peeta's reaping.
