Let me try this AGAIN...(stupid LJ completely erasing my entire FINISHED entry).

The winner this week, by a whopping ten votes (the most I have gotten for any entry on the polls yet) was Lost Treasure of the Grand Canyon (Mega Snake and Sumuru came in second and third). And what luck, it is available to watch on youtube. So I'm being generous again and providing all the clips here for everyone to watch.

NOTE: The only complete set of clips was the one with the subtitles (and at times craptastic video quality), but the whole movie is there. It's not too much a distraction, especially if you've seen the movie already.

Okay, time has come again for the Viewing Recommendation Poll for #ShanksSaturday. [Poll #1550412][Poll #1550412]

The selection for today's Viewing Recommendation has turned out to be Shanks' first Andromeda episode, Star-Crossed (so there is the added bonus of getting to see Lexa too! ;) ). Well of course Andromeda is very difficult to find in a purely watch-only sense across the interwebz (hell, it's not even available to DL from any purchasable place such as Amazon Unbox or iTunes). Turns out that the entire episode is up on the Youtubez, of all places (which means there's no telling how long it'll actually be up - hopefully it holds out for the day at least).

So that is the whole purpose of this entry - to provide all the parts of Star-Crossed so everybody has the opportunity to watch, including you guys here on LJ. Yaaay! 

To anyone directed here from Twitterwebz: You see the hard work I put into this stuff for YOU guys?? I don't have to do all this shit, but I do. I HAVE this episode on DVD. I don't NEED these youtube parts to watch it. But I'm providing for YOU. I hope to see some more enthusiasm and interest out of you guys, or I will stop being so helpful.

To my flist: Can you guys tell I'm starting to get annoyed with a lot of non-participants on Twitter? I do this for them, and yet don't feel quite appreciated! XP

P.S.: It took all my will power not to sit and just watch all these parts now...ESPECIALLY when Part 2 starts immediately with Gabriel and Rommie talking. *sigh*
 

First off, let me say thank you to all of you on my flist who took the time to vote for the first viewing recommendation. It ended up being a great success over on teh Twitterwebz, and there was an excellent turn out for the commentary of 'Need' (which as I said before, was the ultimate winner). [Poll #1548204][Poll #1548204]Also, I am curious to know if anyone here on LJ (that isn't on my Twitterwebz) actually participated in the viewing recommendations?? It would just be nice to have all around feedback on this! Thanks!

I mentioned this last night, the whole viewing recommendation poll for #ShanksSaturday over on the Twitterwebz. Depending on how this one goes, it could be happening every week. *shrugs* [Poll #1541719][Poll #1541719]
(Oh, of course 'Need' is the SG-1 episode. Forgot to put that in there, just in case you need clarification...Also, I picked all these randomly, off the top of my head. So there is no inclination towards anything I'm DYING to watch).
