God, Definitely, Maybe is such an awesomely cute and amazing movie! XD The ONLY reason I didn't buy it on DVD yesterday at Mike's was b/c they've been showing it like crazy on the FSU movie channel - I'll just ask for it on my X-mika list (which I really need to get started...she's gonna be wanting it eventually!)


So I figured while I'm waiting to get a text from one of my peeps about going to see the Hulk tonight, I'd actually do that POST about my LIFE instead of just meme stuffs... idk how long it's gonna be since idk when I'll get the text, but we'll see.


First, we'll start with schedule for this semester...

Tuesday/Thursday

Intro to Physical Anthropology/Prehistory, 9:30 - 10:45 AM
World Geography, 11:00 AM - 12:15 PM
Dinosaurs and Disasters, 3:35 - 4:50 PM
Ancient Medieval Civilizations, 5:15 - 6:30 PM

Wednesday

Intro to Physical Anthropology/Prehistory Lab, 12:00 - 1:30 PM
 

I DID have another class scheduled, but I ended up dropping it. It wasn't a purposeful drop at first - I just was an idiot and forgot to do the first day attendence feature up on Blackboard (it's FSU's first-day attendance policy - you HAVE to be there the first day of class, or you automatically get dropped. This is why i scheduled all Tuesday/Thursday classes this semester b/c I wouldn't have been here the first day b/c of the con). Apparently the teacher had extended it until 3 PM the next day, but I had tried at like 1, and it wasn't open. So I just decided I'd just stick with the drop, return the book I'd gotten for the class, and not have to deal with it. I considered adding a different class, but forgot and ran out of time before drop/add ended. So that schedule up there is what it's gonna be like this semester! XD


Of course, my LAB is in the anthro department. For anybody who DOESN'T know this, my school's anthropology department is NOT on campus, but in a shopping center down tennessee street. This means I either have to catch a bus (yeah...right...) or walk. Obviously I'm not putting the statis of whether i arrive to the lab on time or not in the hands of bus drivers, so I'm gonna be walking every Wednesday to my lab. It's not a LONG walk, really - it'sjust aggravating to have to LEAVE campus for a lab! And what's worse is this is my major's DEPARTMENT. So until they move it BACK to campus (there is a rumor that they were supposd to do that this year), I'll be doing lots of walking out there! It IS right by CVS, though, so when I'm low on essentials, I can kill two birds with one stone.


Big news of the day: It is OFFICIAL, my friends. I am going BACK to Chicago next year for the Stargate Convention!taraleesg1 will of course be joining me again, and this time around, dvshipper will also be attending! And I say it's official because just today, only a few short hours ago, i ordered the tickets for us! XD We are going Gold again, of course! I'm quite excited! My experience this year convinced me that it is beyond worth it to go to this convention. It was just too much of a fun time to pass it up, and it was all a unanimous decision to head back. And since I did it this year, i know how to handle the money situation a little better! *dances* Now we have something to look forward to again!


So went to the mall on Wednesday (as was evident by the pics for WITL and the updated DVD list!) - I think I did really well spending wise, considering. I had gone last Saturday with Shaq and Paris to kinda scope out what I wanted to buy when I got my money and could head back. There was only one place I went were I bought things I never intended to get more than a pair of flip flops - that was Pac Sun. But I've been jonesing for some more tank tops and plain shirts, and they had 2 for $20. Plus, since I spent over $50 (mind you, the flip flops were $25 - but they're Roxy and they're comfy and awesome!), so if I go BACK and spend another $50, I get 25% off. This is GOOD b/c i need some more jeans, and they're still 2 for $55 there. Also, Hot Topic is always an 'unnecessary' stop, but there was a Skeleanimals jacket I'd seen on Saturday that was marked down to $20, and then was 50% from THAT - and GOOD jacket these days for ONLY $10 is a STEAL! Oh, and let's not forget I had a frequent buyers card all filled up and ready to be used, so that was another 15% off! GOD, I LOVE Hot Topic! I took some pics of the stuff I bought - I'll try and get those posted tonight after seeing the Hulk.


I totally got hit on by a guy at McDonald's today! *snirk* I'm wearing the Sweeney Todd shirt I got on Wednesday, along with my green shorts and the 'Jedi' boots...plus got some Vala pigtails going....(the wardrobe plays into it, trust me!) So I was there, eating my lunch and working on a new letter for taraleesg1 ...as I finished and got up to throw my trash away, this guy said 'excuse me'. When I gave him my attention, he proceeded to ask me about Sweeney Todd. Then I went to refill my cup and leave, and he approached me a second time. This time he told me I look good in these boots... to which I smiled, said thanks very much, and left. LOL - It totally put me in a good mood! XD


I've been desperately trying to finish up this Johnny and June fic! I've FINALLY gotten to the actual SONG, so there's not much left to go. IDK when I'll get around to actually completing it, but I'm HOPING it'll be before the weekend is up!


Anywho, I think that's about it for now. I should be getting that text any minute now!
