I think that might be a bit premature of an announcement... "green-lighted" doesn't mean "in production", just that the script has been approved and all they need now is the funding. I'd be delighted if it was filming now, but Shanks was in Melbourne this weekend and said it definitely won't start filming this year.

Yeah, I understand that. I didn't expect for them to get going this year. I'm just excited to know it hasn't been permanently shelved and that there will likely be another movie in the future.

I just miss my new SG-1 stuff so much! I know you understand!
