Well, despite my college woes, I do have a couple of things to be happy about today:

1. Deadliest Catch's new season starts up tonight @ 9 on Discovery!!!! After having seen season 4 about six times over, I'm thoroughly excited for some new stuff to watch.

2. SOOOOOOO much info on 'Living Out Loud', courtesy of MSOL!!! Michael news/updates always put me in a good mood! (And, ya know, he's lookin' rather fine in this movie. Not that he doesn't in other movies, but DAAAAMN. The shallow fangirl side is coming out! XP)

I saw the first season. What is it about the show that draws a person in? I know that they were going to change the regulations for how they controlled the number they could catch but the danger wouldn't go away. Plus, the people are so brave and determined..... but it is more then that. To see them so excited at the "Big Catches",,,, then to see tragedy. Yes, the show draws you in.

I love the family aspect of it all - like how all the main boats are run by and worked on by families. The Northwestern is the Hansen brothers, the Time Bandit is the Hilstrans, Cornelia Marie is run by Phil and his boys, and the Wizard is Keith and Monty. It just makes it so that you KNOW there's gonna be some family drama (both the good and the bad).

And of course it is the danger too - not knowing if the people you love to see on the show (no matter how long they've been doing it) will make it through each season.
