Oh it wasn't how he was acting...that was fine...it was literally the author's choice of words to come out of his mouth...I know from moving his voice in my head to the computer screen that sometimes what I hear just doesn't have the right phrasing or the right choice of words for him and that's what I was experiencing. It felt like the author just didn't choose the right word for him to say....um....the example that comes quickly to mind(can't remember where it was)...but Jack is injured...and Daniel makes tells him that his "arm is busted"....my internal 'Daniel sense' said...nope, that doesn't sound right...Cam would say 'busted'...Jack would say 'busted'...Daniel would say 'broken'...at least IMO. Intially, as much as I loved the 'Duck Dodgers' comment I questionned as to whether it was IC because Daniel isn't know for being up on pop culture, but then I realized that he woulda been watching Duck Dodgers on Bugs Bunny when he was kid, so it just became my absolutely favourite line...even thinking about it now breaks me up. This story would have been way more fun than Continuum was.
