~ Watched 'King Arthur' just a few hours ago, since I have to do a 'reading journal' on it for my ENC class. It'd been a LONG time since I'd seen it all the way through, and I'd forgotten how much I REALLY love that movie! Love it so much that it's inspired brabbits to throw brand new fic ideas at me! Of course it helps that in 'The Quest', Merlin referred to Daniel and Cam as specific knights of Arthur's. So brabbits put two and two together (got five) and bam - new fic idea. I've got some details worked out already (was planning while watching the movie) - even a basic plot line to follow. But idk if I should put a whole bunch of work into a complicated AU that I'm sure no one will like. *shrugs* Might just write it for my own amusement.


~ I was 'informed' I just HAD to see Tropic Thunder, so I went and bought it today. And since CBS is being wonko and showing the S.6 season premiere AGAIN (why they can't show a perfectly new episode, idk.), I'll probably put it on tonight. Either that or start in on that AU I just mentioned.


~ Tomorrow it will be 1 month until my birthday... and of course the cruel nature of the world...my 20th birthday (this year) is on a Saturday, making my 21st on a Sunday. Of course party time in Louisiana is every night, regardless of what day it is... And I've already decided I'm going home next year so I can legally go out and have a few drinks with Madre (we've even talked about having a Gilmore Girls type 'plan' for the big 2-1). But it just...seems so wrong to go out on a Sunday night - of course i have a year and a month to brood over this. *snirk*  


~ Those emails from Creation just seem to get more cruel... it's torture. We've gone months without a decent update (b/c they lie and fuck with our heads and don't really update the page when they say)... But in good con news, the hotel room has been booked. So covered on all the important parts...now if CERTAIN people could be ADDED, then the buying of event tickets could get underway! XP


~ Contemplating ideas for my day of the month of love... there's a few vid ideas and always possible fic ideas. For those who are interested in what I might put forth, what would you like to see? Vids or fic? Both maybe?? I even considered trying my hand a sketch, but there's NO GUARANTEE what I draw will look anything like what I want. Of course when I'm in a drawing mood (like I've been lately), I can put out sketches like the Daniel one I did for this past Chicago Con. *shrugs* But yeah, opinions on what DV loveliness I should work on for my day (not so coincidentally my birthday) are welcome.


And that's all I've got for right now...other than the fact that I'm FREEZING my ass off in this room *wishes for her home and her bed and her kittehs to cuddles*

Would LOVE to see Daniel and Cam as knights! *sigh* Though the armor wouldn't be shining neccessarily, they'd still be knights in some sort of armor.

Well, it's not so much them as old fashion "knights" ...the idea has a lot of inspiration from Firefly as well ...but a lot of the strong points from 'King Arthur' would be involved.


I know! It's all about Vancouver right now! What about CHICAGO... we want news on our con too!
