[Error: unknown template qotd]To be completely honest... I join them. Not in the sense that I have a smoke - I hate smoking with a passion (as in to say I would never do it myself - if other people do it, that's their choice). But I don't feel they should be singled out and forced to go outside alone b/c of one bad habit. So anytime Madre heads outside for cigarette (she has to do it at home too b/c Smurfinator won't let her smoke in the house), I go with her. It could be freezing cold and raining (the rain at home isn't a problem - we have a nice covered porch...but it can be a factor when we're out somewhere), and I would still go. When we're at home, since Smurfinator has shunned all things smoking (hypocritical considering he used to smoke more than Madre did), it's a perfect time for me and her to chillax and chat. We have had some very entertaining moments/conversations during her cigarette smoking times.

I think it shows that even though I may not like it, I respect their choice to do it. I can't tell a person what they can or cannot do, and I don't want to lost out on time with my friends or family simply because of a stupid cigarette. So I'll suffer right along with them in the cold or the rain, bitching probably the whole time about said cold or rain, but it'll be a moment that others will have missed out on b/c they let personal opinions get in the way of what really matters.

Damn, that was really deep wasn't it? *snirk*

My friends are made of win, and that's all I have to say about the subject line!

Just figured I'd update a little bit before y'all see the massive twitter-pating that went on today (and it was really quite shameful of us - really!)

-Finally, finally, FINALLY saw Dark Knight. It was very much love! I love movies/shows where you love both the good guy AND the bad guy, and are never really sure if you want to take the side of good, or the side of evil. Heath Ledger as the Joker was absolutely amazing, though it will forever make me sad to know that it was such a beautiful performance that ultimately ended his life. Still, the entire movie was great and it'll be the first Batman movie I will own when it finally comes out on DVD.

-Turned in my paper for EUH, and then skipped the class today so I would be at the SLC in plenty of time to see Dark Knight. I had a really hard time getting this one started this time. I just wasn't really into it, and I'm afraid I didn't do as good a job as before. I'll be pleased if I pull off an 'A' of course (maybe my fantabulastic writing skills alone will swing in my favor??), but a 'B' wouldn't disappoint. I impressed myself though - I managed to read the sources and get the paper written and sent, and still have enough time to stop of at Einstein's for a bagel before GLY. Oh yeah, I'm good... *snirk*

-Jurassic Park, as a book, is annoying me. I want to read it - really,  I do. But I just have a feeling I'm gonna hate it b/c I love the movie sooo much. I've been procrastinating with the reading by working on letters for my beloved BFF. I DID read some while waiting for my GLY class to started today, ironically (GLY is my Dinos and Disasters class). What's funny is my prof. referenced the books today. LoL. But yeah, I'm forcing myself through it - The goal is to have it finished by the end of Turkey Day break.

-4 Days until I get to go home! XD

-And now I've been sucked into watching clips from Mel Brooks movies on youtube. The Stake Scene from Dracula: Dead and Loving It is my next search!
