"It's all the same...only the names have changed..."

So I redid the highlights in my hair today (the pink ones...), and took a pic of it. I actually took a picture to show Madre how straight my hair is drying using the hair dryer. Before when I dried my hair like that, it would poof up beyond all belief...wouldn't even CONSIDER being straight. It was why I dreaded blow drying my hair for YEARS - now, when I do it, it may not be COMPLETELY straight, but it's not the POOF either... and I wanted to show her that...


But it's a nice shot of the pink. I did use the green again this time too, but it stains VERY light (practically the same color of the highlights that are already there - the blonde ones, i mean) - I just do it because I find it makes a nice effect than when I just use the pink....


Anywho, here's the end result:

Yeah, so it's official (even more so then yesterday) - I'm hooked on the Twilight series. I practically spent all day devouring the damn book! It's just the combination of love and vampires and the whole awesomness of it that I just can't seem to turn away from! I know it's all hyped up by the tweeny girls and whatnot, but it is BEAUTIFULLY written and such an amazingly paced love story that it's too irresistable for me!


I will be posting the latest chapter cross-off for it after this post! XD


So, other than my latest obsession, today was very good! Found out our seats for Chicago Con - HOLY CRAP MAN. And I thought they were GOOD this year...wow! Read the transcript now posted on MSOL, and let's say it made me smile and giggle... I'm pathetic like that, but I can't say I don't enjoy my patheticness.


Watch the S.2 premiere of SCC - LOVED IT! I was almost in tears at one point! I just love that all my shows are coming back (well, all my still running shows!) - okie donkie, the Tudors doesn't start until March, but that's neither here nor there!. But yeah, SCC was awesome. I'm kinda tempted to do a rewatch of S.1, but I also am thinking about doing a rewatch of The Tudors (both season, just with S.2 being on surfthechannel), so IDK.


The only problem I had today was with the bank. On Friday, I had Madre take money from my SunTrust account (where the fin aid was deposited) into my Teche account (the one back home and that my debit/credit card is tied to) so I could order the con tickets. Well, the first amount she put in there just wasn't enough, so she graciously put another $200 in there (i didn't NEED that much - only like $12 more to cover the tickets...but i wanted be covered on all ends). As SOON as she texted me she'd done it, I went and ordered the tickets. Well, I didn't check my online statement until yesterday afternoon. THAT's when I noticed the second deposit hadn't gone through and I was OVERDRAWN $11.28! Apparently, since she did it AFTER 3, it didn't go through that day (though she could've SWORE it was before 3) - so I wasn't too upset yesterday. I figured it would go through this morning before the overdrawn fee would hit and I wouldn't be out an unnecessary $25. Well, this morning I checked, and it STILL hadn't gone through. So I talked to Madre, and she called them (had her do it since SHE'S the one who made the deposit, she's on the account with me, and she's THERE where the actual bank is). They told her it wouldn't be going through until midnight tonight! She was like "THAT'S IS UNEXCEPTABLE! She is in Florida and NEEDS this money." The woman then told her she would make a memo credit and get the money in there, and after i got back from my day out reading, the money was there and I wasn't charged for being overdrawn (which is good b/c it wasn't my fault to begin with). So my ONE crisis today was very nicely averted!


Watched Vanity Fair last night - OMG, loved it! A pleasant surprise was finding out Jonathan Rhys Meyers was in the movie! I hadn't even realized until I was reading the opening credits and saw his name! I was like WHAT! MY HENRY?! And indeed, it was! *dances* I so love that Irish man! And he had such a prominant part too! Other than the delight of him being in the movie, it was definitely a delightful watch. I do like my period movies, of course, and I think i even liked this one better than Marie Antoinette. XD I very much recommend to for all my fellow movie enthusiasts who have yet to see it!


Okie donkie, that's it for now... i need to post the chapter cross-off, then maybe get one more chapter in before bed!
