Yay! I agree, this book is easy to read yet I've always found it so thought-provoking and interesting because despite being a killer, the creature never really felt like the villain of the story to me.
Which film version are you planning on watching? If it's the one with Kenneth Branaugh, I give you fair warning that it is not at all like the book. It was almost unrecognizable...and not in a good way.
