Vampires - Ur doin' it right!!

So just got back from seeing 'Let the Right One In'.


After being subjected to much Twilight over the past several months, it was nice to see the classic myths portrayed. There were some things I even forgot about that were brought into the mix.


The movie overall was great. There were several parts that were definitely *snirk* worthy, but most of this came about by us cracking jokes rather than the movie itself.


Is it bad, though, that I found the girl to be completely okay and the boy to be DAMN creepy?! I mean, if I had to choose to be in a room with one of them, I would choose HER in a heartbeat (no pun intended)!


Anywho, highly recommend it for the vampire enthusiast! XD

I really know nothing about this film but someone at work always rambles on and on about it. Maybe one of these days I'll check it out. Is it gory? I like vampires, but I guess I'm not a crazy!violent vampire person (odd given that their whole 'thing' is killing people :p)

It's not violent to a large degree... there is a bit of blood (though most of the time you only see it on the vampire after she's killed someone), and the ending of the movie is a little gory. But it's not the worst I've seen in terms of the gore factor.


I would recommend watching it! ;D
