Like Shooting Stars

So on Saturday, while I was in the box, I decided to read instead of work on the Michael vid - that being said, I finished the S.9 Companion, and started into Memoirs of a Geisha (the next on the list, of course). Before I even went inside that night from working, I had read 100-something pages. Of course considering there's just about 500 pages in the frelling book, it's not too much.


ANYWHO, I have come to update my list and start a chapter cross-off for Memoirs of a Geisha...  





And just so I have an official page count of the S.9 Companion (so I can add the totals up when I finish the list!), let me do this:

SG-1 Season 9 Companion ~~~> 157/157 pages [COMPLETED 5/10/08! XD]

Yay for progress again!

*snort* Just another reason why Michael is just A-MAZ-ING! His sarcastic and witty sense of humor so translate into written word, it's almost poetic! - of course, i knew this from his tv guide blog, but that's neither here nor there...


For those who are wondering, Michael did the foreword for the SG-1 Season 9 Illustrated Companion, which is the next book on my list. I started it just today because I'll admit I've been kinda apprehensive about getting into it - Not because I think they're bad books, these BtS inside scoopy books...OH NO, definitely not true. The Essential Scripts is one of my all-time favorite books (it's like a bible for one like me...I have read it more than once all the way through, and refer to it constantly...*sigh* the book is LVOE!)... It's just i've finally gotten back into reading novels again, and here I am reading a not-novel...


But just like reading/listening to Local Custom jumpstarted my drive to read again (a lot of that thanks to Michael, of course...), just reading to foreword has helped jumpstart me again after a few days of apprehension -


ANYWHO, since I can't do a regular chapter cross-off (for those who haven't read an illustrated companion, or the essential scripts, there are no chapters - it goes by episodes, than characters, and has other seperate sections in it), I'm just gonna do what taraleesg1 is doing with her Farscape companion reading (can't help but giggle again over that), and post my page count:
